Motril
Motrils town centre is located two kilometres from the coast and is therefore not overcrowded by tourism. Motrils coastline contains several kilometres of beaches and an attractive harbour. The beaches are partly located behind sugar cane plantations and partly at the beautifully designed promenades. Motril became famous for its sugar cane plantation and was formerly called "Little Cuba". In the town, you will find the "Parque de los Pueblos de América", a park with Latin-American plants. Among other sightseeing spots, two old churches and a baroque townhall can be visited during your stay.
