Alora
Alora lies on top of an almost tropical valley with endless citrus and olive groves. The town has 13,000 inhabitants and with its white washed houses and narrow lanes, the Moorish influence is vividly noticeable. A Moorish castle still overlooks Alora. Foreign tourists are still the exception, and Alora is a perfect starting point for trips to nearby destinations. For example the famous gorge "El Chorro" with its Kingsway is just a stone´s throw from Alora and the drive to the beach in Malaga is just 40 km
